Oblik Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 Hello First post so here goes... Neighbour installed and positioned a domestic sewage system run by a (perpetual) pump which is driving me bonkers because of its unremittingness and noise. I went to the council - they said he would cover it/recover it when the poor guy had time. 10 years later - me having had to leave the house and live elsewhere - the noise is actually worse. The pump housing is not flush but proud of the yard level. I bought the house because of the beautiful natural and peaceful large garden, full of birds that at least make a distraction. Any ideas? Had thought a straw bale curved wall might do it or a fountain! Or legal action. We do not speak to each other already.
Mr Punter Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 If the noise is so bad that you have had to move out you may need to take legal action against him. Firstly I would contact the council again and ask them to visit, as at least that will not cost you, whereas legal action will be thousands.
