Auchlossen
What are the constraints re proximity of SVP vent near boundary? I would prefer to put vent near apex of side wall, which is about 600mm from boundary. To avoid taking a pipe thru the roof. BCO is not supportive. Alternatively I could take SVP thru side wall by boundary, and take pipe up above roof. The approved plans show SVP stack emerging thru roof at 800 from boundary, which is not much further away. Are there any relevant regulations or conventions? In bonnie scotland.

Auchlossen
Across the boundary here there is a single storey wooden shed, about 4mx2.5m. No opening windows anywhere near, neither on my building nor on next door's. Elsewhere on the boundary there is garden ground. There are no current plans to develop there AFAIK, and the house is about 7m away. i have had a quick trawl through Sc Building Regs and through various proprietary guidance docs, and I can see no ref to vent clearance from boundary. Nickfromwales
Treatment plants have low level VP's so I don't see the problem tbh. Challenge the BCO I just did and saved the customer about £10k .
Auchlossen
BC has now agreed to use of AAV Air Admittance Valve, which gets us out of a hole and should save a bit.
