Hello above is the layout of a chalet bungalow I have recently purchased, we got it at a good price but some renovations required.

 

A couple of issues that we have

 

- No entrance from Hall into Kitchen

- No single back door into house with just a patio door

- No downstairs toilet with the toilet being in a bedroom that at the moment we dont require 

- No Utility room but we have a garage close to the house

- Ok with upstairs but no ensuite

 

We would like the following

 

- Stand alone Utility room

- Stand alone downstairs toilet

- Stand alone back door

- Entrance from Hall into kitchen

 

We are open to a 2 storey extension but cant just work it out right so if anyone has any advice it would appreciated.

Make the missing doorway from the hall to the kitchen.

 

Turn the unwanted downstairs bedroom into the utility. downstairs bathroom accessed from that.

 

Convert a kitchen window opening to a new back door.

 

Can the large bedroom be divided to make an en-suite?
