Drainage works

Hi.

 

I’ll be getting my sewerage drainage laid in a few weeks time and just wanted to check a few things.

There will be a total of around 40m running down a lane before it gets connected into the lateral drain.

I just want to make sure that standard orange soil pipe is good enough to use in a public lane. There isn’t a large amount of traffic, but I will also be using this lane for deliveries.

Should 6” be used?

There are 2 chambers going to be used in the lane, what chambers should be used?

Is it your lane...? And where are the Sewage Provider taking accountability for it, as that is normally from your property boundary..?

 

If it is being adopted then you have to use what they specify.

It isn’t my lane. I’m not sure where they would be responsible. They are taking a 30% retainer from me until 3 months after completion, so Does that mean they are taking responsibility.

They haven’t stated what materials to use, that is up to the company that I had quote for the job originally which are welsh water approved contractors. They have specified 110mm pvc drainage, but not specified the chambers.
