Might have a major house renovation in the Assynt area

We're in the process of buying a property in NW Scotland, currently looking at a beautiful property in Assynt. The house would need a major overhaul, though, with pretty much the entire interior requiring renovation.

Which Assynt is that? (a bit like people who say they are at Tarbert)  The one near Ben More Assynt? (a fantastic walk by the way)

Yeah, Ben More Assynt. The house is on the Stoer peninsula, North of Lochinver.

The walk up Conival and Ben More Assynt a few years ago now was one of my most memorable hill walks, probably helped by being a crystal clear blue sky no wind September day with fantastic visibility.
