  5. Yeah definitely charged me vat just trying to find a VAT invoice from them.
  6. Also do the receipts need to be presented in date order or isit sufficient just to order them my self by adding a reference number to each receipt that then matches up with the spreadsheet list.

Hi all, I’ve got a number of delivery notes from one supplier (example attached). they include amount, vat amount, address where over £100 and suppliers details including vat reg no. does anyone know if these would be accepted? Or would I need to go back and ask for a receipt that states invoice rather delivery note? any help appreciated many thanks
  8. Hi everyone, I’ve got a few questions regarding receipts when making a claim if anyone is able to help. Do receipts need contain your name and address? and is there a monetary limit on when this becomes a requirement? The wording in the checklist states “We may ask you to prove that you have paid for them and then the following in the attached photo. Ive got a lot of till receipts for places such as wickes etc for varying amounts, none Of these contain any personal information other than having card receipts attached onto some of them that had Does anyone know of a perfect example of how to present your receipts and invoices? Or a breakdown of the information that must be included for them to be accepted? Any help would be appreciated kind regards
  9. Paid via bank transfer I believe or credit card was one of those two would have to check. Yes still have the quotation email I believe
  10. Interesting.... I’m assuming I’d have to get a hold of their VAT number to be able to do this
  11. So my self build had taken quite a while and since the kitchen was supplied the firm has since gone bust. At the time I was chasing them for the invoice but they never provided it and as they’re no longer operating so can’t contact them to get a copy. Does anyone have any experience with this issue or have any advice on what I could do to either get a copy of the invoice or be able to provide sufficient evidence to HMRC to still be able to reclaim the VAT for the purchase. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. kind regards George
