@craig Do you know any good toe and heel guide for French doors (double glazed) since ones in YouTube seem to be brief or have some other problems

@craig I am talking about how to correctly adjust the hinge so after the adjustment(/due to the adjustment), the load is equal between the hinges. So my concern is that my adjustment will create an uneven load on the hinges. Thank you

@craig What is the best way to make sure that the load is distributed equally when adjusting the hinges to raise the door. Thank you

@craig I checked the other side of the hinges and there aren't any side cover caps so it seems they aren't ERA

@dpmiller Do you mean the one I labelled as "locking (?) Allen key slot" for the top one, that feature exists for top and bottom hinges but doesn't exist for middle hinge; this is one the main questions I have since I don't know if it's not there to signify that the middle hinge Allen key slot behind the cap is for adjusting something else or its just how the middle hinge was built or if something is lost or broken for the middle hinge (and if so if adjusting the middle hinge to even the load when I am adjusting the hinges to lift the French door would create more problems)

@gaz_moose There are Allen key slots under the plastic caps on all three, I presume all three are for height adjustment, it's just that the guides I have seen advise adjusting all of the height adjustment Allen key slots so load is equally shared between the hinges and well I am not not sure if all three are height adjustment and also only the top and bottom hinges have this secondary Allen key slot which is normally for locking the height adjust. So, not sure if all three slots under the cap are height adjustment and if me changing the middle one to equal the load won't damage it if the locking wasn't there because it was broken or the slot under the cap for the middles was for something else like moving it forward or backward.

One side of my French doors is sagging, I checked online for possible solutions and the most obvious seems to be readjusting the hinges however only the top and bottom hinges have allen key slots for locking the height adjust, all three (top, middle , bottom) have the allen key slots for (presumably) adjusting height. Has anyone else dealt with something similar to this?

I want to fit a key lock mechanism to a door, ideally want to fit the key lock mechanism without changing the door too much and since the door already uses a tubular mortice latch the solution I reached to is to use a keyed lock door knob or lever handle, example [ https://www.amazon.co.uk/Qrity-Stainless-Entracne-Passage-Lockset/dp/B06XKJHDP6 ]. Pic of the door without the spindle of the tubular mortice latch, the latch seems to be similar to this https://www.screwfix.com/p/smith-locke-chrome-tubular-mortice-latch-64mm-case-45mm-backset/339px and has the same 45mm backset so I won't be using the latch they are providing since it has a larger backset but since my current latch also has 2 extra holes like the screwfix latch, that are correct distance apart so it probably will work with the door knob above. This seems reasonable since this is an interior door and doesn't need to be that strong and would fit criteria of not changing the door too much. But I don't know much about locks and such so want to know if anyone else has experience dealing with these kind of key lock door knobs or levers from amazon that work with tubular mortice latch.
