Hi Jenni, are you still around on this forum? I have a couple of questions related to your experiences in the above, ie. looking to use Pex pipe for ASHP runs.

Hello all. My wife and I are have spent the last year living in our new (to us) home agreeing on designs and plans and being frustrated at not being able to get contractors on board. We have now started and lots of decisions need to be made.... Between us we have a fair bit of experience in property refurb, I am virtually retired and fairly capable. An ex-engineer I certainly like to get stuck in to the technicalities of things and the invention of best solutions and good design. Project includes a lot of structural work, some extension, raising roof line to allow staircases to be moved, implementation of a lot of insulation, air sourced heat pumps, solar power etc etc. I was researching a particular area relating to pipe sizes in Heat Pump systems and found a very relevant and interesting thread here, hence my arrival. I'll pick that tread up in the relevant section but anyway, that's me, look forward to learning from the experiences of others and where I can maybe helping others too. Best Paul
