Hi I am hoping somebody can confirm that this is a Aquastat on my Tempest heat pump water storage tank and if it is not what is it? Does it control the hot water? Also as it is not straight but slightly bent should I straighten it, can I straighten it by removing the screw?

Similar clamp system i believe, Do you find it accurate enough?

Hi Has anybody used these Wifi energy metering monitoring clamps before? How accurate are they? Are they easy to install? I like to monitor the power consumption of my heat pump. Thanks

I have a similar problem, Would it be not possible to turn up the hot water temperature before a shower? Sureley having a little hotter water at the start could help and heat pump would already be providing hot water.

Just thinking, with your experience, could you just approximately estimate on a standard/average volume open fire back boiler how many bags it would take? I am kind of useless with this kind of math.

Hi We now got confirmation they are installing a pressurized system, whereas previously there was a non-pressurized system for the hot water. are they supposed to pressure test the system before, to make sure old plumbing is up to being used as a pressurized system?
