  1. Hi, got the envelopes and stamps now so if you want some tickets please put your name down.... https://www.webuildacademy.com/tickets thanks ryan
  2. I used sketchup and got a free plug in to export the correct file type...worked fine for me
  3. my 2 cents :) I was just having this conversation in the podcast today with a surveyor... they do a lot of what an architect does if not more in some respects. One common thread I am noticing through all the interviews is the importance of a good client brief. Understand what you want from your professional first (and some times more important what you don't want) and then go out to a number of different people. Pick the one that best fits your brief and your personality (the latter is more important for large long term developments). Then it does not matter if they are an architect, surveyor, technologists. a good professional should save you time, money and above all stress/risk a cheap is likely to do the opposite. ryan
  4. hi, sorry if you interested in tickets go to... https://www.webuildacademy.com/tickets or the pod cost.... https://www.webuildacademy.com/ Thanks Ryan
  5. i have that one...well another version...its a right pain to use... i actually got the UP after which was much easier. The problem is levelling the floor and every thing else. I would not bother with duel extrusion unless you have a lot of spare time. If you want to take up 3d printing as a hobby then got for it..but if you want to just print a few things i would recommend the online professionals. results are in whole new ball game. ryan
  6. one that often gets missed is building regulations part M...it has a lot of useful mounting hight requirements in there. just check out the planning portal. thanks ryan
