Was looking for some info on temp sensors and came across this useful command

  

/opt/vc/bin/vcgencmd measure_temp

 

It reads the onboard temp sensor.  May be useful, may not.

Also found this when using the BME280 sensor, it is a quick way to get all the files you need onto your RPi

  

$ sudo pip install RPi.bme280

 

Worked for me.
