Omnibuswoman Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I have flooring going down next week, and am considering whether to fit the bottom frame for any fitted cupboards now for the carpets to be fitted up to, even though it could be 6-12 months before I get to building the actual cupboards? Or have the carpets fitted wall to wall now, and butcher it later when I’m ready to build the cupboards (provided I don’t change my mind before then!!). Any and all advice /opinions welcome!

Get the fitters to leave them long, and ask if they’ll be happy to come back and trim them properly for you ‘as and when’. 1
