AdamD Posted Saturday at 14:47 Posted Saturday at 14:47 Noticed salt levels not going down and also residue on shower so had a look and it appears the softener is not regenerating properly. Everything is on, all display screen functions work etc but when regenerating nothjgn happens, usually there’s the clunking noises as it’s doing its thing but nothing now. Checked pipes and valves nothing blocked. The pic attached is on a manual regeneration cycle it ticks down but is doing absolutely nothing. Manual is as useful as a chocolate fireguard so looking for advice! Can’t contact the manufacturer yet as is weekend and Xmas so just seeing if anyone has any thoughts in the meantime

Can’t contact the manufacturer yet as is weekend and Xmas so just seeing if anyone has any thoughts in the meantime I have very similar one - have you tried powering it down Mine always re-gens if the power is accidently turned off Bottom of the screen on mine normally shows 4 blocks which is the state of the resin and then it re-charges overnight unless you catch it out with abnormal usage. Only other advice I can give is keep a careful eye on the pipework - Mine decided to weep over a few months - the crimp had started to fail

So it’s doing something but nothing everything! what is the crimp?
