Picture Post 1941

Went to visit my Mother today, there was a tatty copy of Picture Post from 1941 on her bedside table.

The issue was about housing,  planning, comfortable living etc.

(expletive deleted) all has changed in 80 years.

 

Except the front cover of the magazines.

Would be on the top shelf, and a brown paper bag now, and probably an undercover copper as the shop keeper.

Going to show it anyway.
