Air Gap on doors for MVHR - Fire Doors

Hi All,

 

We have a BPC supplied system and on the install pack it says about a 8-10mm gap on all doors, to aid circulation.

 

Thing is, we have a number of fire doors which seems to defeat the principle of them.

 

I will ask BPC but any guidance from people on here?

Normal non smoke fire doors can have this size gap at bottom. I've never seen a smoke door in single dwelling so you should be fine.
