gaz83 Posted Sunday at 18:49 Posted Sunday at 18:49 Hi any help would be appreciated. I have a pitched roof that terminates onto a flat roof. I recently laid the EPDM on the flat roof and due to the pitch roof sarking boards not being in great condition I overlaid with 9mm osb3 30cm up the pitch so the EPDM had a good surface to bond to. I have went to dry lay the slates and the osb has caused the bottom of the eaves course to kick out about 1" from the pitched roof. Is this acceptable?
JohnMo Posted Monday at 09:13 Posted Monday at 09:13 You will a kicker at the bottom of the slates anyway to stop capillary action drawing water up, plus you don't want the states touching the EPDM either, as over time you will end up with a hole somewhere. So it's never going to be a perfectly flat transition
