Ecodan PUZ-WM112VAA requires a software update.

Hi, my ecodan PUZ-WM112VAA is currently running on firmware version 5802, I was told that the latest version is 5809. Is there any ecodan installer that can apply to update to the outside unit?

Or if anyone knows how to install the update please let me know.

Why bother - is it going to make any difference how it runs really?

They sent someone (not the folk who installed ours three years ago) out to do this for ours. It is the software in the outdoor unit that they update and apparently it changes some aspect of how it runs as they were observing an unacceptable number of compressor failures in the 11.2kW ecodans.

Mitsubishi sent someone out to do mine for no charge to update to the firmware via the outside unit. It has made a significant difference especially in October, much longer runs at lower temp/power consumption and better control of room temp around the target. I'm running in full auto (room temp) mode using the Mitsubishi room controller.
