Tiles are Marley Mendips "burnt orange" (ie teracotta with black overspray) - yeah I'm not going to be lucky there!!!

Got the MVHR in boost atm to refresh the air inside as I get into bed, prob about 10% as effective as our actual AC units.

 

If you want swift and effective cooling, you can't beat a proper AC Unit. Duct it through the window and accept it isn't perfect, but it is effective.

I may look at a 2nd hand monoblock ASHP and a large fan coil unit on the landing (that used to be the box bedroom but is now a corridor to the rear bedroom in the extension, and had the stairs to the attic in it plus all the 1st floor bedrooms lead off it.

 

As usual, I’ll do more thinking than doing. 🤯

I love our AC. It’s been on in our bedroom since April keeping it at a lovely 21 deg C. The PV powers it during the day and batteries keep it going overnight.
