Upvc Frame Extenders

Hi all, it's been a while for me on here . I have a question about upvc frame extenders on a window, my brick opening for the window is 820mm wide by 1745mm tall and I need a fire escape window but with that width I limited to French windows with a fixed pane on top or a tilt n turn and I don't want one of those.

Could I get a 700mm wide window and make the difference with frame extenders as doing this is i can get a fire escape  hinged side hung window with a fixed pane on top and save myself £300 price difference over the French windows.
