I like to give any DIY project a go but sometimes need a helping hand from people in the know.

Cutting through a wall to build some steps so any help much appreciated.

I don't know much about what you're planning to do, but a photo will help others who might be able to help. Failing that, a quick sketch showing rough dimensions and what the wall is made of will do.

The wall is about 4 feet high with solid earth behind it which is 1 metre high. I plan to cut through the wall and build some steps. I’m pretty sure that the wall will be fine but just want to get some advice beforehand. Any feedback welcome.

Just to add that the wall is of standard brick and is double skinned.
