Lukej Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Hi, we have a traditional house built in late 80s, with wet verge. The mortar the verge is crumbling. We had a local roofer over and he suggested to take out mortar and undercloack board, then install a button along the verge and screw on dry verge end caps. Is this a proper way of doing it? or should I request to have the mortar replaced?
