Nick808 Posted December 4 Share Posted December 4 Hi, My staircase is relatively old (1950's) and there has never been (at least as long as I've owned the house for) a post to hold onto on the external corner on top of the newel post as you round the top of the stairs. It looks like there used to be something there. Getting a post is easy enough (I think), but I've no idea how to fix it to the wall in any way that would still look nice so I'm looking for help/ideas.
