Warm or cold roof

Hi all,

 

I was looking for some advice with regards to insulating my old flat roof extension. Looking best option to insulate the roof which is connected to a slate pitched roof. Attached are photo of my flat roof from inside and view from outside where flat roof connects pitched slate roof. Really appreciate any advice and which options are best.

Warm roof is best but the Velux windows are too close to the deck.  Could you lose any ceiling height?

Yes could afford to lose internal ceiling height. Thanks
