Nic Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 Hi I’m at building regs stage of a small timber frame , passive based house in Devon. Draft drawing just arrived today. I think I would like the outside to be at internal FF level based on what has already been drawn , any ideas on best option based on drawing attached
JohnMo Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 Add another 60mm to the floor insulation. Make it 200mm. 1
Nic Posted September 14, 2024 Author Posted September 14, 2024 What about how to raise outside to make outside at FF? And not cause any issues with damp cause

A 100mm block on its side under the 140mm, would lift the whole house 100mm. Increase insulation depth and make it a thick screed? Plenty of different ways to do it, just think it through. 1
