Loft conversion current how much? ££££

So we are in just outside of Brighton in the south east, we have a semi detached bungalow with a gable end and would love to convert our loft, I'd love to know what the current price is roughly for a dormer conversion. Many thanks

I’ve a friend who does nothing but loft conversions He says around 40k basic So you can probably add another 15k to for the SE

We have a 3 bed semi, with a gable end.

 

Was planning a master bedroom with ensuite, quotes came back between 55-65k! 

 

We're in between portsmouth & southampton so I think quotes will be similar. 

 

We didn't go ahead as it was a lot more than we were expecting. I was going to self deliver but I just don't have the time anymore

I did a dormer loft conversion about a year ago near Brighton, the house is also semi-detached. I have a total cost of the work in the range of 48-52 thousand pounds, including all materials, work, and standard finishing without excess. The term is about three months. Much depends on the condition of the roof, access, and your requests for the interior finish. Note that prices sometimes change quickly, so I advise you to get a couple of fresh ratings from local builders.
