Paulus
So my 92 yrs father had 2 chaps working on a neighbours roof offer to ‘fix’ his bungalow roof last week… they stated that spalling on his chimney stacks and missing pointing on ridge tiles needed sorting… he agreed to what he thought was a 2 day job… outcome? See for yourself .. and £1800 charged for two hours work…. Thoughts??

Kelvin
Cowboy rip off merchants. Utter scumbags praying on the elderly. Phone them giving them the opportunity to refund most of the money. When they don’t report them to the Police (fraudulent) and contact trading standards. Some councils have a cowboy trader process on their website giving advice on what to do. Keep a note of any communication you have with them. https://www.merton.gov.uk/business-and-consumers/trading-standards/rogue-traders
