Looking to self install and possibly commission, wondered on thoughts of this design and a way around it? We don't have the steel beam running by the kitchen, it's now a solid beam, but obviously I can't run duct through either, I couldn't get around this due to the spans and loads. Any suggestions? My only thoughts were as the rooms above are a bit in the roof, I could use that to take it up vertically and into the loft to the MVHR unit?
