SDHatter
We hadn't purchased any new sanitaryware since 2019 and purchased at that time a Burlington suite with bath, vanity and high level WC. Very pleased with that! Had to purchase a new WC for our en-suite in January this year as the old cistern had cracked top to bottom and couldn't be replaced as it's no longer made. The brand was Imperial and again when purchased many years ago, we were pleased with the quality. Thought we would purchase Imperial again as we had thought the previous quality was good but not only did it take a month to arrive from what is listed as a traditional manufacturer from the UK, when it arrived and was installed, we noticed the ceramic colour of both pan and cistern are a dull white/ grey. Even the ceramic / chrome lever handle on the flush is white which shows up the dull colour of the WC. We were told by the retailer that Imperial have said it is down to the firing of the ceramic. When did the colour and quality of a loo change!!?

I bet you 99% of all people do not look at the color of the china when tainting the contents.
