Brix
I'm submitting an application for prior approval for the addition of a full extra storey to a house. In addition to that I am proposing a number of alterations which are straightforward permitted development and simply require a certificate of lawful development. Can these all go through on the same application? Locally I have seen other prior approval applications in which the drawings show both the proposals requiring prior approval, as well as those which are straightforward PD. Other than being shown on the plans there is no reference to the straightforward PD proposals. The design statement and report focus solely on the elements of the proposal requiring prior approval. There is no separate application. The architectural technologist we are working with does not seem certain.
DevilDamo
I can’t see how they could go on the same application. The process and determining factors for PA applications is very different to that for LDC applications.

With planning these days it's best to follow the KISS approach.
