JBT5 Posted January 28 Share Posted January 28 Has anyone any experience of Sokolka windows? Have had a couple of quotes for windows and these have come back by far the cheapest. Went to see them, aluclad timber frame, they look fine, some of the mechanisms and clasp look a little cheap but otherwise fine. Decent u-value. Is there anything further to look out for? crispy_wafer Posted January 28 Share Posted January 28 (edited) No experience of the windows, but make sure you grip the handles and check their operation and feel in the hand. I never really did, mine are crap and the majority of them have loads of play left to right and in and out. The windows weren’t necessarily cheap either!
