HanleeHouse
Hi guys, we’re currently making this out building usable by blocking up the front and new roof. Its single skin blockwork which rain is seeping through the blockwork. It’s only going to be used for storage so want to do it as cost effective as possible, but obviously we want to make sure it’s watertight and damp free. Does anyone have any recommendations to stop rain coming through? Ideally it would have a 2nd skin or battened and cladded. But as 2 sides aren’t visible and it’s only for storage, it seems very expensive to do this as it’s 11m x 5.5m. I’m thinking an external paint - Wethertex AP77 or emperor paint? Would this do the trick? At ground level a liquid DPM? Any advise or suggestions would be much appreciated. Conor
Render and a masonry paint. I'm not sure paint alone will do the job.
