Error code 18 help on Aeromax/Kingspan

My Aeromax ASHP has stopped working again. It seems to be showing an error of code 18 as it flashes once and then 8 flashes which says G-Tr inverter circuit protection.

About 2 years ago I had to change the heating pump due low flow error and the symptoms seem to be the same as the pump starts then stops and the error then starts but I think a pump should last more than 2 years?

Any help would be much appreciated

if it's of any use: my second hand Carrier 30AWH-006 = Aeromax heatpump did only start when connected to the thermostat 33AW-CS1b.

I did try to start it during summer time with the switches Thermostat 33AW-RC1 but if got the same errors as you have described.

Called Carrier NL and they advised the Thermostat and since the beginning of this month the unit worked.
