Njm
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any advice on best way to insulate the walls of the eaves which are lath and plaster. PIR board wont sit flush but would stop the (maybe 1cm deep the plaster, I could use mineral wool but i think I need a VCL barrier and then secure it against the wall. Any guidance is much appreciated. Thanks Neil
MikeGrahamT21
For me I’d go with rockwool and a breather membrane, not a VCL (assuming this is into a cold roof space), PIR won’t sit nicely against that.
