spagettilegs Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 (edited) I have a Neura heat pump and my thermostat has failed (Theben RAM 797 b). I'm looking to replace it with another more modern one I can use with an app etc. My question is, can I replace it with any thermostat or do I require a very specific type thermostat to run the heat pump? Thanks for any pointers Edited October 30, 2023 by spagettilegs
MikeSharp01 Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 (edited) Looks like any stat, with timer functions etc, will do. I found the manual for your current one here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/2425364/Theben-Ramses-797-B.html and it is basically a two wire connection. Here is the relevant page from the manual! Hope this helps... Edited October 30, 2023 by MikeSharp01 missed vital info
