Old air brick

Hi All,

  I have this old air brick for the old gas heater in the living room but this has been replaced with a 5kW stove and I don't need this airbrick anymore.

There is insulation around this ventilation grate.

 

 

How should I remove it not to destroy the whole think? Use the oscillating saw?

It’s only plastic why not destroy it?,
