Marlz05
Hi all, I am considering coating the brickwork on my new build with a water repellent cream but have a couple of questions. Firstly, my brickwork has only been up in total one year, I know normally it is recommended that prior to coating, you wait for a few winters to allow the salts to come out of the bricks - are there any issues I would cause by coating the brick now and not waiting this time? Secondly, does anyone have any recommendations of products they have used before - I specifically want to use a water based cream and have been looking at Stormdry or Microshield Ultra. Any help and advice gratefully received. Thanks,
Temp
Why use anything? It will stop any water that does get in from escaping.
