So the 'second' layer may be what is shown dark blue: a strip up the wall and out. I don't know Juta products. They seem to cost more though as they are red and have "radon barrier" printed on them. BCO approved this diagram so I am adjusting the section accordingly.
Sophiae Posted July 20, 2023 Author Posted July 20, 2023 Good afternoon quick question for all. would it be ok to use the Micro digger to break my existing 30cm concrete slab in the existing build instead of using a handheld machine (Hilti 3000)? what is the safe margin to leave around the existing load bearing walls? understanding cold bridging, would it just be ok to line up the edges with 25mm PIR? I will use a Radon mitigating solution for the whole of the existing slab as it won’t be possible to cover all existing surfaces with Radon barrier. All help is much appreciated. http://www.dceplanthire.co.uk/diggers
