markocosic
Any reason not to use Pe-Al-Pe (not Pex-Al-Pex) for low temperature heating? (<55C, <6 bar) I ask because pish cheap on offer at ~£0.34 inc VAT just now. (the white 80C rated stuff next to it is spendier) It's aluminium sandwich 5 layer stuff so should be airtight just the temperature rating differs right? de devil tail
Hey @markocosic, Did you buy this from DEPO? Did you find it suitable?
markocosic
I'll let you know this winter @de devil tail It isn't rated for high temperatures and pressures in the district heated blocks. It isn't flexible enough that you would want to use it for underfloor heating. But for cold/hot drinking water and low temperature heating I think it will be just fine. 🙂
