TonyAJQ
We have underfloor heating installed in a new build. We are getting a damp spot on the stone flooring. We are in the process of trying to eliminate what it can’t be. Is it possible to have an intermittent leak from the UFH??? Would it continually leak whether the heating was on or off ???? Any advice would be a great help
Bonner
Normally a system will leak continuously as it is always pressurised, although the pressure does rise as it warms up, so it is possible that opens up a small leak. You should have a manifold with a pressure gauge somewhere. If there is a leak, even a small one, the pressure will drop over time.
