newhouse87
Hi, just looking for advice on how to sort my issue. Basically 2 rooms in particular don't heat up, sun and sitting rooms. I done a test other day and when i had kitchen/sun/sitting room stat on i finally got heat into sun room. So im guessing it has 3 loops, 2 turn on when that stat calls for heat actuator2/3 but now im thinking actuator 4 is also meant for that room or actuator 1 from either kitchen or sitting room stat. Below is what actuator turns on with corresponding stat. To complicate things further im thinking sitting room has 3 loops too so maybe a loop from bedroom 1 is meant to be going to sitting room. People say loops are usually grouped so kitchen stat turning on1-5 on small manifold and actuator 4 on main manifold and sitting room turning on actuator 1/5 on main manifold doesn't follow this theory. Rest Any help appreciated. so sun room 2/3 sitting room 1/5 kitchen1-5 small manifold 4 main bedroome1 6/7 master 8/9/10 back bedroom 11 small back bed 12 A Edited February 20, 2023 by newhouse87
Marvin
Hi and welcome @newhouse87 It sounds like your doing the right thing by testing - trial and error! It's a process that requires patience to get right. Personally, I would turn on one room thermostat at a time and check which actuator reacts, which flow and return pipes at the manifold become hotter and which area of floor warms up. This can take some time..... Only then can you be sure of what you have and then consider the remedy. Good luck M
newhouse87
Thanks, some rooms i cant seems to get past 21. Has anybody ever uses thermal imaging on floor to see if all floor heating up? infrared non contact thermal imaging guns out there but not sure if they would be any use.
