Labour costs set to rise

and why not Every other industry are pushing for a pay rise 

Whilst the large building companies have been covering our material price rice’s Gypsum are adding another 7% later this month Two large companies we deal with have agreed to re negotiate labour rates in an effort to try and retain an already depleted workforce 

We are two years into a three year site 

If we carryon at the rate we are it will take seven years 

 

 it’s a vicious cycle Higher wages to combat inflation In turn pushing up inflation
