French drain connection

Hi I am doing some changes to my patio and i want to put french drains. My question is where shall i connect the french drains? Shall i connect them to the rainwater drain?

As you can see from the photos the lines signify where i want to put the french drains and connect both of them and then i was thinking to  connect them to the rainwater drain

I can’t see any problem doing that as there won’t be any foul water
