Hiwa
Hello, My bathroom (1st floor) have a PVC membrane flooring. I want to lay some tiles instead but would rather to keep the PVC membrane under to protect the wood beneath from getting wet if any leakage to happen in future. My question: Is it ok to lay tiles on a PVC membrane? If yes , then any ideas which type of adhesive should I use? If not, do you think using an Acrylic/Silicon sealant works as a good adhesive for fitting tiles and could be successful? Thank you Hiwa (DIY guy 🙂)
nod
Yes As long as the membrane is stuck down firmly You CS use a flexi adhesive Dont forget to leave 5 mil around the perimeter
