Decorating transition advice!

Hi everyone!

 

I am looking for some advice for our open plan area as I want to wall paper the snug area but stop at an external corner which turns in to the dining area where the door is, but the top section of that corner cuts across the whole space as that is where the steel beams are. See attached pic of the snug area/walls

 

Would I look to use a corner trim for the tidy transition, wall paper all the across the beam or just clean cut the wallpaper and paint the beam. I want a really good finish so looking for any advice!

Are any actual door going where that 6panel door is propped up?

Is there any architrave going round the opening? It looks like a wood lining
