AFDD needed for HMO and recommended elsewhere

I like the idea of AFDD but "very reassuring when you look inside the AFDD"?

 

There are electrolytics in the example AFDD. That's not reassuring to me. What do you think the longevity of that AFDD will be?

I'd much rather see polymer capacitors in something that I wish to rely on.
