Stig of the dump
Hi this is my first post I'm hoping someone can give me some advice. I re-rendered the bits that stick up at the gable end of my house a few years back and it hasn't taken long for most of it to weather away, probably my fault for using old cement in the mix (I did use Rendermix). I'm looking to cover these rendered areas now in a sheet metal as my neighbour has done (pic 2) with lead. I was hoping to use a cheaper metal such as sheet aluminium, Zinc or copper. I was just going to pre bend it with a metal sheet bender then anchor it to the brick. Does anyone know what the best solution for this will be? Cheers in advance! Stig of the dump
Cheers Gaz I never would have thought of that, how would I wrap it around and bend it to a 'u' shape though with it being plastic?
