Miek Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 How much load before what? It carries your weight easily enough. It would be fine for general storage IMO, just don't put a safe up there. It's only a 2m span, in my old house I had 75mm ceilings and did what you have done, but they were 3.2m spans. It was bouncy, but fine for storage.
George Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 I'm not sure 3x2 (75x50 mm nom) should even be spanning 2m. TRADA tables says 1.24m for a C16 47x72mm. That said, light storage is usually OK. No books!
