ffgmat
Hi I would like to install manifold near my boiler with is in the loft. I know it should be on the same level as all loop, but I have a huge problem with the place.. I will have 4 loop all on first floor , the biggest one 80m and 60,38,40 Boiler viessmann vitodens 50 combi, manifold + grunfos pump . 2 zone valve ( downstairs radiators ). Next year I will convert grand floor on ufh so then all house will be ufh , so this configuration need to work well for one winter. What is your opinion on manifold in the loft , will it work?? thanks Edited May 1, 2022 by ffgmat
JohnMo
Not normal but could work, if the loft space is outside the heated environment, your heat loss could be large, even when very well insulated. Don't you have a cupboard or wardrobe you put the manifold in?
