andygo
Hi I'm currently having an arotherm ASHP and unistor cylinder installed. The plumbers are just waiting to fit the buffer tank.... I've got a question about how they plan to connect the UFH and radiator circuits to the buffer. The UFH was already in place and something they had to work with. It's pretty basic with no manifold - just a flow and return and a mixing valve (yellow). It looks like the UFH and CH will share the feed and return to the buffer. However the T for the UFH is after the black CH pump - so the UFH circuit will flow through the CH pump. I know v little about plumbing so that maybe standard practice but just want to check if it's correct. Should the UFH either have a separate flow and return to the buffer or at least T off before the CH pump not after it ....or doesn't it matter? Appreciate any advice.
