TheRivieraKid Posted December 5, 2021 Share Posted December 5, 2021 If you're planning an extension that is fully compliant under PD, with no requirement for prior notification and no other council restrictions, is there any benefit to applying for a Lawful Development Certificate? It feels to me that applying for one just gives the council an opportunity to apply a restriction to something they might not like the look of, even if it meets permitted development rights.
